Performance methodology
A figure without its context is not a result. It is a headline.
We do not show an equity curve stripped of what it cost. Any performance figure we publish carries the period and the risk taken to reach it.
What accompanies every figure
The measurement period, the sample size, the worst drawdown recorded, slippage, commission, and the market conditions over the period. Missing any of these makes the figure incomparable, and comparison is the only reason to publish it.
A backtest is not a promise
Backtest reports are published with their costs: slippage, commission and sample period. A backtest shown without them is not a figure missing a caveat; it is a different figure.
No expected performance
We show no forecast, no target return and no probable scenario. Historical results and simulated examples do not guarantee future outcomes — which is not a legal caveat but a description of what the data can support.
Trading and investing involve risk and may result in partial or total capital loss. Historical examples or simulations do not guarantee future outcomes.
